We, Team NPK along with Karandikar family firmly believe that businesses should contribute towards the betterment of society in whatever ways they can. We utilise our resources and infrastructure for the purpose.

Srujan Award

NPK has instituted Srujan Award at the Instrumentation Science Department of Savitribai Phule Pune University. This award is for the students who come out with innovative ideas during their industrial trainings and projects. A panel constituting members from the department and board members of NPK interview the short-listed candidates to select a student with the brightest idea. A trophy and a cash reward of Rs. 3,000/- is given to the awardee.

Student Development Program & Internships

NPK encourages and promotes visits by Engineering diploma and degree students to its lab in Pimpri MIDC. Our staff members are ever willing to demonstrate calibration performance. A tour round the lab explaining the technical aspects of the metrology & calibration. We insist on showcasing the standards that are maintained in our lab, not as part of back-patting ourselves but to enable the students learn the business procedures and practices.

We also promote internships from student from India & International institutes in metrology & calibration.In 2016Mr.Ammiott Guillame a French student of Sinhgad International Students Centre completed his internship at our laboratory & published a technical poster to his engineering school on his work.

Various Fund-Raising Activities

As part of CSR activities, NPK also contributes towards various fund-raising activities and has, in the past, raised funds on its own to contribute towards social cause. Our fund-raising activities are aimed at supporting communities and enabling the stake holders to sustain on their own.
